However since last summer they seem to have been going through some sort of revamp, bombarding us with new products and seeming to shake the 'cheap' feel to their products (not that the quality was ever 'cheap'!).
I haven't tried any of the newer products I must admit, as my local Superdrug don't seem to be able to get many of the new products. However yesterday I found that MUA now have their own website(!!) so I ordered a few things from them which should be here soon. I disliked having to pay postage for something I should be able to get my hands on in a shop, but what ya gunna do :)
I liked the feel of the site, it didn't feel cheap or tacky, and although some of the prices have risen, it's not by loads (a pound or two) so I don't feel like I'm being cheated. And you know what the greatest thing is? They ship worldwide for around £7.50! I know I few people who wanted to try out some MUA products but were unable to because they lived out side the UK, but they now can order from the site which I think it great!
Another thing that I like, are the new promo images! Being a photographer this just draws me to the products and makes me want to buy whatever the model is wearing. It's nice to see that a company like this, who provides good make up at very affordable prices can budget for this kind of thing without rising their prices hugely :)
Personally, I'd like to see some expansion of the £1 range, but having said that I haven't had chance to try any of the newer products yet. I shall report back to you when I have ;)
Have you tried anything from the new range?
Thanks for reading :)
