Photos from my days

I love taking photos - always have - and since doing the GCSE at college as a fill I've remembered how much I love it. I'm seriously considering taking a course devoted to it next year because I think I could make a cereer out of it.
So anyway, I desided to post some of my recent photos on here, just because I'm bored. You never know, it might become a regular thing.
Photobucket
Lint Chocolate bunny! I used this as final print in my exam unit. I think it's really pretty and contempery with the spece of 'nothing much' to the right.

My mummy... She doesn't like this pictue for some reason, but I think it's so pretty...
Photobucket
...As is she in this one. I like it because it's one of those pictures you know hasn't been faked.

Sleek Now here's something we all famillir with; eyeshodows!
Panda! Last one, this is one of out cats laying in the grass. Thank God the manul focus on my camera is so good!

Well that's about it... I don'tknow why I felt like posting that but it seemed interesting and I'm not doing much, just watching my boyfriend and his best mate play COD!
Honestly, I don't know why I bother at all, no one reads my blog ;/ I guess I just like being able to write my veiws down without someone telling me I'm wrong.

Cheap as chips nail polish!

I went on a food shopping trip with my mum the other day to Asda and saw these there.

I already owned the two on the right so I knew what they were like but I was really interested in trying some more because lets face it, for £1.50 these are actualy pretty darnded good! So here's a little review for you all from my point of view.
The colours (Left to right):
35 Frost bite
51 Nightmare
41 Mysterious
56 Swoosh
And I already had
16 Buttercup shine
9 Cloudless sky

The frist of the new colours I tried was nightmare.

I have to say this is could well be my favorite!
It's not too over dramatic so can be worn as an everyday colour but nither is it dull.
Photobucket
As you can see from the photo, Frost bite wasn't the smoothest aplication.
I find that you need two coats to get good coverage from these - which is fine and what I do with most polishes - but the second coat seemed to stick to the first even though it was touch dry and I got a comment from an 8 year old later that day enquiring as to whether I'd painted my nails with wall paint!
However I still love the colour, I'll just have to be a little more careful when applying next time :)
Photobucket
The last colour I've tested so far is mysterious (ignore the red). In the bottle is looks really shimmiry, but on it's not as eye catching. I still like it and applying it wasn't as bad as Frost bite, but I can get the exact colour by using a layer of navy blue and top coat of purple.

However I am happy to have bought these and having had numrious incounters with nasy cheap nail varinshes, I have had to say that these are rather good. So if you're short on cash and fancy a treat, pop into Asda for some cheap and chips nail colours <3

SIDE PRODUCT
This isn't as Asda - and I have no idea if you can still get it as I got it for my 15th birthday - but I recently dug out this bright lime green colour (#137, writing is too faded to read!) by Barry M.
I have no idea why I haven't worn it more, but it's just such a lovey summery colour.
Get it if you can!

Gloss out 2010 update

Ok, I know I haven't updated in a while, I've just been so busy with things. College is coming to an end and I've also had some problems with my home life ect.
Anyway, I don't see the point in making a video about this, but if anyone wants to know how I'm doing they should be reading here!
So far I've finished 1 gloss off! It was Benefits 'glossiness' and as you can see in the pic bellow (just in case you cant quite take my word for it) there's basicaly nothing left to get out of it.

After that I took a break from wear makeup fullstop because I really couldn't be bothered, but I feel much mmore myself now and I'm starting to use one of my e.l.f. glosses and a Rimmal one.
I've broken what I said and have bought another lipstick, but I do wear lipsticks a hell of a lot more than glosses so I'm not worried about my money being wasted.
Plus it was a leaving college present to myself...
Ok, that's enough lame excuses, I just wanted it!

Bye-bye shine!

Ok, whilest watching a video the other day I heard the guru say that they were part of ''gloss out 2010''. Entreaged, I searched it and found out more.
It's a movemeant that's little like project 10 pan - were the idea is to use up all of a product - execpt people are making up their own rules and variations. Some are limiting themselves to 5 new golsses this year, while trying to use up ones they already have, and others aer just going for limited ones, but the main idea is to use up as much as you can in 2010. I think this is a great idea, and as of now I will be joining onto Gloss Out 2010!

My collection:

14 glosses & 9 lipsticks (I'll explain more later)
Now, granted, I don't have a HUGE collection (not as big as my eye shadows!!) But I litrally never them. I'm more of lipstick girl and I do use those, but not that often.
So, my rules:
- Mainly trying to use up glosses but there are some lipsticks I want to hit pan on too, so those will be included.
- I can buy a new gloss, but only when I've finished one and if I know that I will wear it!

My hopes for this is that I'll get into to wearing gloss more, I see them in shops and love the colours (I'm like a magpie but with colour!!) so I buy them and they just sit in a box because they feel irritating to wear, I'm used to pain ol' Vasiline!

Elf are wonderful folk!

I got my box of eyes lips face (elf) produes yesterday! I'm going to do a video about what i got a long with mini reviews seeing as I've had time to use them too.
I really shouldn't have spent that money but oh well the produes are good!
I'm now going to start doing project 10 pan but with a difference. I really have a problem with buying eye shadows. I have so many compared with every other piece of make up I have so I'm making a pact with myself that I won't buy anymore till I've used up ten of the one's I've already got... which could take a while because I've had - and used - some of them for 2 years you can't even see the 'pan'!!
I've got loads planed for both my channels but it's just trying to find the time. I now start at 9.00 on four days at college and at 10.30 on a Thursday, so it's really hard for me to find the time alone where I can do videos now.
